Love and hate for my London
I think some cities are Just magical and London is one of them for sure.
You either hate it or you Love it.
Or both in my case.
My relationship with London started the 11 of September 2007- When i flew there for the first time and decided to stay.
Even if i had never been there before. I accepted and Loved this city right then and there.
She cheated on me the very first day actually: when i arrived i remember that the weather was spectacular, deep blue sky, sun and warm :London was wearing her best dress and make up for me. And i felt for it like a fool.
It was love at first sight!
But even the most romantic love stories have some ups and downs, and i got to see London in her worst days too: Crowded, cold, inflexible and impersonal.
So Many times i hated her and many times i threatened her to leave.
Until i actually left for real. And then something happened.
I realised how much this city has given to me in terms of experiences, emotions, places, smiles, tears and so much more…
I lived London to the fullest, completely and deeply. And leaving her it hurts . A lot. More than i expected.
The pain was almost unbearable at moments but i’m also really happy that i feel this way.
Because it means that i sucked every drop of life that this city has to offer, and that our bound will last forever.
In honour of my magical city, i put together a collage of pictures and memories in a link at the bottom of the page.
They are not high quality, but are really dear to my heart and i’m really glad to have this blog and be able to share them with whoever wants to see it!
Here it is My London
