If you live in a colder climate than it only makes sense that you want to spend your vacation warming up in the sun. Here are six holiday hotspots that you’re guaranteed to love.




Exploring Croatia is perfect for nature lovers and people who are interested in history. Start with Dubrovnik, a stunning walled city on the Adriatic Sea that is steeped in history and is often used for the filming of the hit series Game of Thrones.Explore the architecture of the country and you will find fine examples from the Roman Renaissance and Baroque eras. There are more than 1000 islands to explore off the coast so it is a great place to rent a sailboat and head out to sea.



Greece has millions of visitors each year because it has stunning views, ancient archaeological sites, and thousands of islands to explore. It has some of the most diverse beaches in the world and you can see black sand, white sand, golden sand or pebble beaches. Head to the capital city of Athens to see the magnificent Parthenon and the Acropolis. Charter a boat and try exploring the islands off the coast. It is a great place to relax and indulge so be sure to explore the many great restaurants to eat at.

Bali is an island in Indonesia that is famous for its meditation and yoga retreats as well as its pristine beaches, forested volcanic mountains, and coral reefs. It is a great place to explore your spirituality so be sure to visit the Uluwatu Temple. It is also a great place to rent a luxurious beach villa and spend your days swimming, snorkeling or just relaxing in the sun. If you have time don’t skip a visit to the Gili Island to admire its beautiful sunsets over the sea with the view of a majestic volcano in the back!



Jomblang-Caves, Goa

Goa is a majestic state in India that has many things for people to do and see. You can hop on a boat and explore islands like Grand Island, and Bat Island. There are many stunning Catholic churches to wander through. Spend a day at Dudhsagar Waterfalls and have a tasty picnic by the falls. Spend your time relaxing on one of the many busy beaches or head to Kakolem Beach if you are looking for something a little more secluded. You can organize a tailor-made tour of Goa before you arrive, so you can be sure to see all the sights you’re interested in.

Thailand is a great destination for people who are looking to have some fun. Bangkok is an exciting city with a great nightlife, fabulous food, and fascinating cultural attractions to visit. The country also boasts some of the most stunning beaches in the world and it is a great place for rest and relaxation. You can choose to visit party beaches or find your own pristine beach that few know about, scuba dive or snorkel. You can also stay in 5-star hotels or resorts or a simple hut on the beach. The possibilities are endless for every pocket!

Mexico is a fascinating country with fabulous beaches on both the east and west coasts. Head over to the east coast and go to Cancun, Cozumel, and Playa del Carmen. The beaches are white sand and the crystal clear aquamarine water is great for snorkeling, scuba diving, swimming, and other water sports.

There are also great historical and cultural attractions to visit like Tulum, Chichén Itzá, and Xelha. Rent a villa on the west coast and check out Acapulco, Puerto Vallarta, or Mazatlán for a great beach break. Tequila is world famous so make sure you sample some of the local varieties while you are there.
