Ok here i am, after 3 days in bed with the flu in August (how cool is that??)
my first thought was “kle! where in hell do you think you’re going if you catch the flu even in august!!
So my already hyper Hypochondriac mind started working like crazy, thinking about all the risks, and awful diseases i could catch, vaccinations side effects…
Picturing catastrophic (and quite funny) scenarios of me spraying myself with insect repellent every 5 minutes, or walking around with a special net for my entire body and so on… (yeah i know, no wonder why i called the blog “KEEP CALM” )
But hey! i never allowed my hypochondria to get in the middle of my plans! so… as soon as i can get out of my bed, first pit stop is:
BUYING ONE WAY TICKET TO BANGKOK!
Just writing it down sound so unreal and so weird…So me and Paolo decided that the “deadline” for buying the ticket was mid september…
Actually i think i took this decision…mmmhhh, well there are 2 main reasons for that anyway:
1) I need a concrete proof that all this is not just a dream!
2) With my ticket in my hands i can face ANYTHING!
from going back to my job,to sort out the million things on my “to do list”, sell my stuff, and much more to come…
So in 2 weeks the real plan will actually start… and i’ll keep you posted on:
But most important: who took the decision to leave everything and go to south east asia between me and paolo??? (basically..who’s the nuts between the two of us?)
We were actually discussing that today, while the poor guy came home to rescue me with vitamin C and paracetamol, but we couldnt find an answer….i think the decision took shape by itself really!
And what is going to happen after landing in Bangkok? God only knows for now! and that’s what makes this journey so exciting!
Just wondering….buying a ticket now for mid february, is going to be too early??
